Volunteers can participate in a variety of ways through the following 5 roles. (1) Host Family: provide a home for child(ren) during a period of crisis (2) Ministry Lead: Organize and communicate support for the Host family; Act as the key recruiter, partner liaison, and more (3) Mentor: meet weekly with school age children during the hosting and 2x a month after reunification for a 1 year commitment (4) Care Community: Wraparound support for the host family including babysitting, meals, providing supplies, transportation, gift cards, encouragement, and prayer (5) Community Coach: conducts weekly home visits with Host Family, and builds a relationship with the referring caregiver(s) to coach, encourage, and mentor.
