Well, first I have been married for almost 24 years, and we have five kids ranging in ages from 23 to 7! I have my own design construction business I started almost 6 years ago, that is now a family business with my husband, daughter, and son! I started as a stay-at-home wife while my husband was a minister. We went through career changes, birth of babies, unemployment and moved 8 times in the first 10 years of our marriage. When I turned 30, I made the decision to go back and finish my degree, and have been both a SAHM and a working mom. Now, with all that said, the one truth that got me through all of that is that God is good…yes, all the time! He was with me through the lows and uncertainty of how to make ends meet, living with unemployment, and praying for a miracle! And he was with me when we lived the miracles and prosperity came. He was with me when I was crying out to him on how to discipline my child and how to love my husband. He was with me when we were in the trenches with teens and now with the consulting of our adult children! He was even in my despair with the loss of a baby! One of the other things that got me through this roller coaster of life has been other strong, wise women! I sought out the counsel of wise women who had been through it and pushed them to open up to me and help guide me! I learned that God’s love lies in the heart’s of women! He gifted us with a range of emotions and can see understanding and experience his Kingdom in its pure form when we seek out the Holy Spirit! Some of my best kingdom moments have been in the presence of some amazing women. Many times coming from the most raw and vulnerable places. My passion is simply to provide the space and/or table for God to show up! “Where two or three gather in my name, I will be there (Matt. 18:20).” Life gets really hard, especially when you are trying to do it on your own. Please know that I might not have all the answers and by no means am I perfect! But you don’t have to do it alone! I have had strong, wise women in my corner throughout my walk and it was with their love, prayers and guidance that I survived! It’s my heart’s desire to be that for other women. So single, in college, newly married and/or in the trenches with babies clinging to you, or even if the “babies” are stomping off to their rooms, I am available! You don’t have to go through this alone!

I have been engaged in full time ministry for 25 years. God worked a miracle in healing my marriage and I have a 21yr old daughter that is a product of God's intervention into my marriage. I’m a young 72 year old so please don’t let the number deter you I’m a recovering alcoholic and addict. I’ve been through sexual abuse. Had a child and gave him up for adoption. I had affairs. I stole things from people I cheated. I have so many things that have happened to me in my life, but those things have brought me to Christ. I started in a 12 step program which helped me develop knowledge of what the scriptures really meant And how we are to carry ourselves I’ve had to work on myself and make amends through living the way God wants me to live. I love what has happened in my spiritual life I can look at myself and acknowledge my defects of character and that is truly a God-given gift. Grace is a wonderful thing and I’m so blessed to receive it. Even with all the things that had happened to me in my past, I would not change anything because I would not have the relationship I have with Jesus Christ. My spiritual growth has grown since I’ve been a member of Crossroads for five years. I love this church because it’s honest and real . And I can’t say enough about the people They are truly kind understanding and non-judgmental. Anything I can do for someone is a gift. I grew up in a small town, and for the past 43 years, I’ve been married to the same incredible woman—also from that same town. I’m a technologist by trade, a road trip enthusiast at heart, and I host a podcast as a creative outlet. I’m passionate about auto racing, especially open-wheel series, and I find deep joy in hearing people’s stories and encouraging them along the way. Looking back, I wish I’d had a mentor when I was younger. That’s part of what led me to join a group earlier this year that meets every Thursday at 6:30 AM. It’s been a truly meaningful experience. I'm Danielle and I have been walking with God as long as I can remember through many ups and downs. I have been around Crossroads for 20ish years. I have been married to my husband for 24 years and we have a 17 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. I have homeschooled them both from the beginning. I have several small side jobs so understand the management of all the schedules that come with motherhood while still making time for myself and staying rooted in faith. I have been blessed to develop some great friendships with other woman that have really been a support to me through many life stages and I am passionate about being able to do that for others. I don't come close to having all the answers but I really believe that having others walking through life with you can provide strength and peace. I have been a part of a small group for years, attended Woman Camp the past several years with a group of strangers turned friends, and even just got back from a Go Nicaragua trip that impacted my heart significantly. I came to faith when I was 22-years old. Two things were apparent: first, Jesus was the most compelling person I had ever encountered; and second, if total devotion to Jesus was what was being asked, then life as I knew it was going be more difficult. Since coming to faith I have practiced the way of Jesus through career choices, marriage, parenting, friendships, health and finances. The ups and downs of life are consistent, but the faithfulness of Jesus being present is constant. Now, with over 30-years faith, I am still convinced, Jesus is the most compelling person I have encountered, AND total devotion to him can be difficult. But building a way of life with Jesus at the center has been the best decision I have ever made, and my daily practices with him give me the humble confidence and courage to keep moving forward. As a mentor, I will help you keep Jesus in focus in all areas of your life, encourage routine practices for growth, and trust the Spirit to create in you the person you are meant to become.

I’ve been following Jesus since my teenage years and I’m here to listen and encourage by sharing my personal experiences. I’ve been married for 27 years and have two adult children (25 & 22). While skipping school with a preacher’s kid, I learned about Jesus when I was 15. I didn’t make space for Him in my life until I was 30. Now, in my early 60s, I can’t imagine going through life without God. I’ve walked through many unpredictable seasons of life and I’m here to help you navigate yours. My journey includes raising three kids, divorce, remarriage, and the deep heartbreak of adult child estrangement. In dark times, I’ve pondered God’s faithfulness and experienced some faith shakers. I’ve learned it’s ok to be a follower of Christ with doubts. It’s ok to wrestle with scripture and put question marks in my Bible when I don’t understand the mysteries of God’s precious Word. Today, while working full-time, I volunteer at hospice, which keeps me grounded in what truly matters. Life is precious and fragile. Life is rarely neat, and we don’t need to walk it alone. I love helping people set intentional goals, find clarity in the chaos, and discover God’s presence right in the middle of a messy life. Hey there! Here is some basic info by about me… I have been married for 12 years and have 3 kids: 4, 7, and 9. I have attended crossroads for over 15 years and been involved in various ways along with attending a couple of man camps. I have been fortunate to have been mentored/discipled and from that opportunity I have experienced spiritual and emotional growth and wisdom. I still continue to live and learn and pursue (imperfectly) a relationship with God through my daily life. Through a mentor relationship I hope sharing my life experiences and wisdom is helpful, but most importantly hope to encourage a stronger relationship and closeness with God. I don’t see mentoring as always being a coffee shop activity (although happy to do that sometimes too) or talking face to face. I have a variety of interests: casual sports fan, hiking/camping, drinking beer/bourbon, baking bread, home repair, disc golf. Happy to make any of these activities or others a part of a remote or in-person mentor relationship.

I started going to Crossroads by accident. I wasn't a believer. I didn't want to be a believer. But the more I wrestled with questions about who Jesus was, the more I couldn't look away. That was 20 years ago. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, got married to the love of my life in 2014, and we've been blessed with 3 sons that keep our hands full. When time allows, I enjoy slowly chipping away at the renovations on my house that was built in 1890. It's been 14 years since I stopped touring, but I still love playing drums and making music. My entire career post-touring has been dedicated to building and creating immersive live production experiences that blow people away and I've been doing that in ministry full time for the past decade. I’m a 68-year-old retired mother of two and proud grandmother of three, still living life with energy and purpose. For 15 years, I had the privilege of being a foster mom to teenage girls—a role that shaped my heart for mentoring and walking alongside others. Hey, I'm Janis and I would love to connect. I've been a Christ follower most of my life but had some wayward years in my late teens and 20s. I believe the suffering we endure has a purpose and for me that purpose is to share my story and experiences with others so thay they may see the hope that comes from clinging to God in the suffering and perhaps benefit from what I have learned (2 Corinthians 1:3-5). Once the suffering has passed we can celebrate in the JOY on the other side! My periods of suffering have included: early deaths of loved ones, suicide of a family member, post-partum depression, abuse as a child, hard relationships with my parents, a major depressive episode, generations of alcohol abuse and mental illness, adoption. God has redeemed those years and we have a life that is rich and purposeful. We have successfully reared three young men and have retired early. My passion is to help women and mothers navigate the tough early years of marriage and motherhood and empty nesting because I did not have that myself. I am currently mentoring women in my local community and my husband and I mentor several couples locally. Our family mission is from Luke 12:48, "From Everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded;" We have been richly blessed and hope to bless others through the ministry of mentorship.

I love family, thrive in adventure, and chase growth in all areas of life. I have been married for 23 years, have a 22-year-old son, and have spent my life searching for my unique purpose. Although I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember, fueled by religion and church hurt, I didn't come into a relationship with Jesus until a few years ago. Knowing how tenacious and self-reliant I was, God had to stop me in my tracks and get my attention in a big way. I went from being a top-performing corporate leader with an active life to being unable to walk unassisted and confined to my couch. Jesus has spent the last three years spiritually, physically, and emotionally healing me a layer at a time. I wholeheartedly believe that God walked (still walking) me through this excruciatingly painful season so that I would be equipped to walk alongside others going through life's challenges. I am deeply passionate about being there for those who don't feel seen, heard, valued, and/or loved and to help them find their value and purpose!

I was successful in business but retired to have more time to give back. Most of my days are volunteering at City Gospel Mission. I co-started a mens group in Mt Adams called Bible & Bourbon that over 100 men have participated in and I mentor and get mentored there every week. I find mentoring a two way street and more the start of a friendship to help someone walk through seasons in their life. I grew up in the church but didn’t really understand the freedom and power available to me through Christ until I was an adult, a wife and mom. I spent years in a deep-dive study of the Bible which transformed my thinking and changed my trajectory. I’ve been married 49 years and have two adult children, two grandchildren. A few years ago I lost my husband very suddenly and unexpectedly and it literally threw my life into chaos and despair. I met some very strong, independent and Godly women who helped me work through many many issues. It’s time for me to step up and be there for others. I have 2 Grandchildren - I love to travel - I love photography - I love pets and I love helping others. I love the freedom of a life following Jesus! It is a path filled with so many obstacles and not easy but so rewarding. Hello! My name is Mindy. I have been a follower of Christ most of my life. I was raised Catholic then ran from God for years before I found Crossroads and knew that is where I needed to be and I began running to God vs from Him. I have never had any children, and have not been married (although that will be changing shortly as my boyfriend and I are talking about next steps!). When I was in the dessert trying to hide from God I was looking for approval and love in all the wrong places and forgot my value and ended up in bad relationships and with no self worth. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and dog whether we are hiking or relaxing in a pool being outside in the summer is where I find peace as time slows down. God has done some incredible things in my life from getting me through some really hard losses to restoring my hearing. But that doesn't mean the devil doesn't come after me, in fact I have learned the closer you draw to God the more trials you face as the enemy tries to convince you to chose him over following God. I would love to help anyone that wants to follow God, has questions or faces challenges that they sometimes just need someone to listen to and provide support from a christian perspective.

I recently did an early retirement at age 55, I have been married for 11 years, and part of a blended family with five (now adult) children. I love to travel, cook, garden, hike, and spend time with friends. I've been part of Crossroads since 2001 and was blessed early on by mentors who walked with me through tough seasons and helped me grow spiritually. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to give back through mentoring, small groups, and various spiritual growth roles. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, and a dad. Life hasn’t always been smooth for me, and I’ve been through my fair share of struggles, failures, questions, and hard seasons. Including a serious motorcycle accident that changed a lot about how I look at life and faith. What I’ve learned is that following Jesus isn’t about pretending to have it all together. It’s about being honest, growing, and continuing to chase Him even when life gets messy. My name is Normarys Perez-Linn. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Cincinnati about 16 years ago for work. In 2016, my husband and I settled in Northern Kentucky, where I left my career in marketing to stay home with our first child and support my husband in his business. I’ve been part of Crossroads since 2015 and have served in a variety of roles—Kid’s Club, Awaited, small groups, GO Trips, Bible Study groups, and Woman Camp. I’m currently leading a Moms Bible Study in my home while also serving on the board of a local ministry. I live in Fort Mitchell, KY with my husband and our four wonderful kids: Jude (10), Penelope and Liam (7), and Eva (5). I love being home with them and staying involved at their school whenever needed. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, journaling, and being in community. I’m passionate about mentoring young women because of the impact that wise, caring women had on me when I was a new mom. Serving and supporting other women truly is my heart.

Hi, I'm Patty. Life has taken me on some unexpected adventures over the past five decades of walking with the Lord. Along the way, there have been mountaintop moments, difficult valleys, and plenty of opportunities to discover God's faithfulness through it all. Some of those experiences include recovering from a life-changing car accident while raising three wonderful sons, walking alongside my first husband through his battle with cancer during our 34 years of marriage, helping family members facing death, becoming "Nonny" to four amazing grandchildren, and finding love again through remarriage. Through every season, God has continued to teach lessons about grace, resilience, hope, and the importance of community. Professionally, I've worn a variety of hats—including advertising, marketing, public relations, design, professional photography, and now Functional Medicine Health Coaching. Friends and family often describe me as a positive person who can find the silver lining in just about anything. (Sometimes that may be a spiritual gift... and sometimes it may simply be stubborn Irish optimism!) Either way, a listening ear, an open heart, and a healthy sense of humor have carried me through many seasons. It has been a great privilege encouraging others through life's challenges and celebrating God's goodness in every season. My husband and I are grateful to call Crossroads home and couldn't be happier being immersed in this church family. No one goes through life unscathed and that means mistakes being made, hopes being dimmed, regrets, or just a feeling of not knowing what to do next. I have found that it helps to have someone you can go to, to share your problems, issues, desires...etc., to talk, get their perspective and sometimes just vent. You should be able to do this without worrying about being be judged, just a safe place, with a safe person who has your best desires in mind. As for me, I grew up with a single mom who raised four children. We were poor, but loved and raised "in the church" as they say. I was able to go on, get my college degree, get married and have two great sons. A long journey with some very dark times. I say all this as I know what it is like to be poor, lack guidance, not seeing a path forward and needing someone that could help guide me. I want to mentor because I want to give back and possibly help someone avoid the mistakes I made, grow their potential and in the end hopefully we grow together in our relationship with each other, our respective homes and most importantly in our relationship with God.

I love to go to Orange Theory and walking in Cincinnati Nature Center, as well as watch movies in Mariemount (I hope they re-open again). My son is 35 year old and a cookbook author. He grew up in Cincinnati but moved away to pursue his dream as cookbook author and influencer. I can offer you with my advices if you are going to interview for a job, I will review your resume and role play with you, then suggest you what to say and what to wear based on the company profile and the position you are going to apply. I can also be an active listener, just seek to understand. Before retired, I was specialized in planning, prioritization, and operations of Program/Projects for IT function. My name is Rachel and I live in Mt Lookout with my husband of 11 years and my three babies (preschool and elementary aged). I’ve been attending crossroads for around 14 years and have been involved in a lot of different ways but connecting with people and building meaningful relationships is my favorite. My own spiritual journey has been greatly impacted by mentor relationships and strong women who have spoken into my life and I’d love nothing more than to do that for others. I love deep talks, encouragement, and just getting to walk through the ups and downs of life with people who are also trying to look more like Jesus along the way. Hi! I'm here at Crossroads Dayton and I really enjoying helping people who are ready to make the steps towards new growth. A little about me: I have been a Christ-follower for 40+ years. I have four kids; 3 college-aged kids from my first marriage, and a toddler from my second marriage to Danielle. Danielle has been at Crossroads for well over a decade. I first attended Crossroads on our first date back in 2016. Back in 2016 I was a single parent of 3 kids, my wife had left me a few years prior, and I was pretty broken. I found healing through some great mentors and some great counselors at Crossroads, through my relationship with my wife, through some great books, through some prayer, and through some really great Man Camp experiences. If I can pass on some of my wisdom from my mistakes, I'd like to do that. I am a private pilot, so my schedule is all over the place. I can mentor someone who understands the on-call nature of my full-time job.

I have benefitted greatly from mentors in my life. It is a core part of my walk with God - mentoring, being mentored, and connecting with peers. Hi I'm Seth Mittle, I am 38 years old, married, and the father of three children, and we are currently in the process of adopting our foster daughter. Professionally, I am a civil engineer, and in my free time I enjoy being outdoors—whether that’s boating, camping, hiking, or riding my motorcycle. I have been following Jesus since August 28, 2006, when I gave my life to Christ during my freshman year at the University of Kentucky. Since then, my faith has shaped every area of my life, including my family, career, and relationships. Over the years, I have sought opportunities to grow spiritually and invest in others. I led a Couples Group at Crossroads for three years, attended most Crossroads camps, participated in multiple GO Days, and currently meet regularly with a mentor. Through these experiences, God has been showing me that I can be the person for someone else that I wish I had when I was in my late teens and early twenties—a trusted guide who can offer encouragement, wisdom, accountability, and friendship. I also spent five years mentoring through the Amachi program, serving children affected by parental incarceration. My desire is to walk alongside younger men as they navigate faith, relationships, career decisions, and life transitions while growing in their relationship with Jesus.

I’m a married father of two, born and raised in Cincinnati, where I grew up in the Catholic Church. Beginning in college and continuing through early adulthood, I became less and less connected to the Church. I never stopped believing, and still attended church occasionally, but it was often more out of habit and “Catholic guilt” than a real relationship with God. While I will forever be grateful for the foundation of faith the Catholic Church gave me, I knew I needed more. Over time, I realized that meant I also needed a change. I started attending Crossroads in 2019. At first, I simply attended services, but slowly over time I've become more involved in the community by joining groups, attending camps, and occasionally volunteering. I'm far from perfect (the good Lord knows I've certainly got my flaws…), but trying every day to be the best husband/father/son/brother/friend/colleague I can be. Some great men in the Crossroads community have helped me in that journey, strengthening my faith and navigating challenges with relationships, mental, and spiritual health. I’m excited for the opportunity to hopefully provide that same blessing to others.

I joined Crossroads in 2022 and it was that summer I received Christ as my Lord and Savior. That transformative experience has connected me to a beautiful, supportive community that continues to nurture my faith. My deep passion is to encourage other women by speaking the truth of God's word into their lives. This is important to me, because most of my life I looked to the world for my identity. God has planted a seed in my heart to help other women see that their identity is in Christ alone. I've embraced this calling as a clear direction from God. I’m a seasoned Christ follower who has had many spiritual mentors throughout my life. Those mentors helped shape me and because of that, I am a mentor. I am a husband, father of five adult children, and a devoted Christ follower for more than 26 years. Throughout my life, I have experienced both the highs of leading a successful family business and the challenges that come with setbacks, disappointments, and difficult seasons. Those experiences have strengthened my faith and shaped my desire to help other men navigate life with wisdom and purpose. I lead men to be more hopeful through Jesus. I currently co-lead a men's group at Crossroads, and now that I am retired, I am passionate about investing in others, encouraging men to grow in their faith, leadership, relationships, and walk with Christ. I am available to meet once a week or whatever is appropriate but have found no matter the schedule, consistency is important to grow in your faith.

A significant time of spiritual growth happened for me when I was intentionally mentored / discipled in my mid 20's so I have great interest in doing the same to pass it along. I find my strengths to be reading the Bible and using it to find a connecting time with Jesus to talk about what he is saying - an encouragement, comfort, correction, or giving him our anxiety, fears, or struggles. And I really enjoying praying for people and calling on God to come near, to help, to show up in a tangible way. My wife and I have 4 children and would hope to have someone join our home for meals or some games of Pickleball in our back yard!

I’m passionate about caring for people, both physically and spiritually, and I love getting to walk alongside others in meaningful seasons of life. I lead worship at Crossroads and feel most alive engaging with God through singing, scripture, and prayer. You can usually find me with a matcha in hand, spending time in nature, cooking for family and friends, or watercoloring. Mentorship has truly changed my life. I received a mentor my freshman year of high school and have had people consistently speaking into my life ever since. Their wisdom, prayers, honesty, and encouragement have shaped who I am today, and my relationship with Jesus is drastically different because of it. I’m passionate about creating that same safe, life-giving space for others. I would love to walk with individuals of high school or college age. Whether you’re navigating faith, school stress, anxiety, grief, relationships, or simply figuring out who you are and where God is leading you. My journey has been anything but ordinary.
