“The X Factor of Sisterhood” A sisterhood of Gen X women to support, encourage, and empower one another through Christian fellowship, developing a close-nit small group of friends. It’s difficult to find friends later in life and we often find ourselves isolated after our kids are grown and parents are older. This group meets the second Thursday of the month from 6:00-8:00 pm at my home in Florence, to hang out together doing things we love, or going out into the community for an activity or dinner. There may be other opportunities in the month to get together, but no commitment required. We try to volunteer together quarterly in our community for things that matter to members of the group. Through our friendship, social activities & volunteering, we will help one another focus on how our faith can lead, heal, and encourage us through the daily issues of life impacting women of our generation. Solid commitment to the second Thursday of the month required to join. No childcare available.
