We will focus on the needs of moms that are caretakers for their children (of all ages) with disabilities. As a parents of individuals with disabilities we are creating a safe, faith-based environment to build a supportive community. From celebrating milestones, to overcoming everyday challenges, we will do life together. What we will at our events: We will meet in person at ScoopAble Ice Cream and enjoy ice cream or bring your own food/ drink (if desired). We will meet with a purpose to build a healthy community and fun together. No matter where you are in the process, prenatal to parenting aging adults, you're welcome to join if you are a mother-figure and a parent/caretaker of an individual with a disability. We understand that it may not be easy to arrange to get "you time" away from your loved-one, but we do strongly encourage not to bring them to the group.
