Hi friends—
I wanted to share a refreshed invitation with our Crossroads community, as this has been on my heart and continues to take shape.
I’m reaching out to women who have experienced breast cancer—whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, healing, or learning how to move forward after it all. Spouses, significant others, and caretakers who have walked closely alongside you are also welcome.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2022, and that season changed me deeply. Through surgeries, treatments, and recovery, I learned just how meaningful it is to be surrounded by people who truly understand. My husband and I feel called to host this group together, creating a welcoming and supportive space for both patients and loved ones.
While there are many wonderful support groups available (and I’m grateful for them), our hope is to offer a space within our church where we can walk together in grace, honesty, and encouragement.
This group would be a place to:
* Connect with others who truly understand
* Share experiences, questions, and victories—big and small
* Find hope and strength rooted in faith
* Support one another through the now what
* Possibly serve or volunteer together as God leads
As we’re just beginning, we’re planning to meet once a month, likely on a Tuesday evening from 7:00–8:30 PM. Details will be shared as interest grows.
None of us would have chosen this journey, but we believe God can use it to bring connection, healing, and purpose. If this speaks to you—or someone you know—we’d love to connect. Let’s remind one another that we don’t have to walk this road alone.
